Originally inspired by a video I watched on youtube, I went looking for the original DIY for these marbled clay ring dishes, which I found here. It's such a clever technique and I knew I had to give it a go. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything the right shape/size to bake the dish in and so I decided to make mine more of a wavy kind of shape by baking it over a muffin tin. I used simple childrens oven bake clay from hobbycraft and gold acrylic paint to decorate the edges. I really love how it turned out even though it wasn't exactly as planned.
