Fitness Motivation Tips

1. Write a list of why you started- They can be very sensible reasons like 'Because it's good for my heart' or not so sensible ones like 'I don't want to be the first one to die in the Hunger Games'. Take out the list and look at it whenever you need to be reminded why you started.
2. Tell your friends- This is one that I have definitely done! By telling my friends it forces me to workout because I don't like people to see me fail, this one works particularly well if you don't wanna hurt your pride. My friends have also been asking me for updates on how I'm doing which helps too.
3. Keep an inspiration board-  I have a super motivational (To me at least) Fitspo collection on We Heart It that I look at whenever I'm not feeling like doing exercise or even after a run to remind me why I'm doing it. Mine is full of pretty gym clothes, hot bodies, gorgeous food and inspiring quotes that motivate and inspire me to push myself harder, if you wanna check it out you can find it here.
4. Wear pretty gym clothes- Anyone else lust over pretty sports bras, leggings and trainers when they don't even exercise and literally have 0 use for them? I always have, which is one of the reasons I decided to start running, to justify my lusting. I picked up a pretty matching sports bra and leggings for under £20.
5. Reward yourself- For every day that you workout add 50p or £1 to a jar, then at the end of the month, or whenever you reach your goal amount go and treat yourself, maybe a new pair of shoes, or a MAC lipstick? Personally I've been using this to save for a pair of  Nike running shoes, theyre just so pretty and will give me even more motivation to go running.

Leave me any of your tips in the comments...
