Make-Up Space Makeover

Before-
After-

So for my birthday I got a new mirror to do my makeup (and many mugs!) So I decided this was the perfect opportunity to makeover my make-up space, and I thought I'd give you all a peek. As you can see it was quite a mess before so I was really looking forward to cleaning it up. So on the left is my make-up remover and the lipstick holder which I got for my birthday last year, the mirror (which is from Ikea) in the middle and then a little tray on the right which I put all my face make-up in. Next to the mirror I have two mugs, one full of all my make-up brushes and one with all my eyemakeup in, I finally found a use for my surplus of mugs so yay! The rest of my makeup which is basically just eyeshadows are all in a little draw that's not pictured, except for my new Naked palette which my friends got me for my birthday which is also on the shelf. So yea, thats my makeup collection, hope you enjoyed ...

Ikea Bits and Pieces

Um, who doesn't love Ikea?
My dad wanted a new mirror so of course off we headed to ikea and who can resist picking up a few little bits and pieces whilst mooching.

 Chistmassy washi tape for £1.50
Napkin holder turned paper organiser £3
Vase 70p (I really need to find some flowers now)
Stripey Christmas Gift Tags £1
Oak Frame £4 (I have quite the plan for this, don't worry)

I actually picked this up on the last trip but thought I'd include it anyway. I think it was £3 and I love that I've been able to put all my photos underneath it plus my time table too.

So to answer the original question- I love ikea.

Great finds at Ikea+Aldi

On Monday I went to Ikea with my family and in the bargain corner I came across these beautiful green and clear bottles. They were on sale at just 80p so I couldn't resist! Once I got them home I sprayed some polish onto the sticky labels and left it for half an hour then rubbed it off really easily.
I think I might use them to hold some home-made bubble bath and use the adorable printables that I found on Eat Drink Chic, here's the link -http://eatdrinkchic.com/post.cfm/diy-bridesmaid-gifts-homemade-bubble-bath-free-labels
And today I was doing some grocery shopping with my mother and I found these clear water bottles that I have wanted for a long time but have only been able to find online. And the best bit was that they were only 99p! What a bargain!
The main reason that I wanted these bottles was because of this post on Eat Drink Chic (again!)because the tags that Amy Moss designed are gorgeous and so summery!
So all in all it has been a wonderful start to the week!
