July Favourites

How is July over already? I feel like I'm going to be back at school far too soon.
July Favourites

  1. City Of Glass- I know that this series has featured in my favourites before but I just cant get enough of it, its so good! This one is the third in the series and they honestly just keep getting better and better.
  2. Victorias Secret Body Sprays- I brought these whilst in New York when there was a 75% off sale and I really wish I'd brought more because they smell amazing! I have Enchanted Apple which is my personal favourite and Secret Crush which also smells like a dream.
  3. Jolly Ranchers Crunch n Chew- Why do they not sell Jolly Ranchers in the UK? Please will somebody make his happen because I will personally make sure the company doesn't go bankrupt because I will buy a packet every day. That is how gorgeous these taste! I think Blue Raspberry is my favourite flavour plus it make my tongue blue which is a bonus (I'm 16 honestly)
  4. MAC Lipstick Creme Cup- Does it need more explanation than the fact that this is my first MAC lipstick?
  5. Shakira by Shakira- I have been loving this album over the last few weeks, my favourite songs are Medicine, Chasing Shadows and Spotlight I think. I just really like Shakira's voice, it's so distinctive.
  6. EOS Lipbalm- Yet one more thing I brought in New York which I am very happy with. I have the Blueberry Acai flavour and it smells gorgeous plus is just as moisturising as I hoped it would be.

March Favourites

Sorry it's been a whole week since I last posted, it feels like an age! But like many teenage bloggers at the moment, my blog is taking a back seat due to, you guessed it, exams! Hopefully I'll be able to keep the blog going but most likely my posts will just be a lot less frequent than they usually are :'(
Anyway onto my March favourites...

1. Millies Cookies- As you can see from the photo, some amazing people brought me a giant millies cookie for my birthday. It took me an entire week to eat it  though which surprised me. I thought it would have been demolished in about 3 days. But then again my brother was at Uni so he didn't get any and my sister had her own so it was pretty much just me eating it :)
2. Highlighters- Highlighters and a good soundtrack are just about the only things keeping me sane under this mound of revision at the moment! I don't why but its so much easier to learn titration calculations and centripetal force when it looks like a unicorn has thrown up over your notes.
3.Captain America: The Winter Soldier- I went to see this the day it came out, I was so excited. I also went to see Divergent but totally forgot to include that on here. Shailene Woodley and Theo James are both gorgeous and perfectly cast and I just love the story so much! But back to Captain America anyway, I was super excited and I have to say that as usual Marvel delivered, the story line wasn't too predictable, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are great together and I really enjoyed the storyline too, even having read, like, ALL the spoilers and theories there was still stuff that was new! And the after credit scenes...all I can say is WOW.
4. Mortal instruments series- This is kind of a cheat one since I haven't quite finished the book yet. As I am sitting here writing this, I still have about 30 pages left but I'm really really loving it and will hopefully finish it later today. I have wanted to read this since I saw the movie and since everyone has been recommending it to me, I'm so glad I did now!
5. My Pandora ring- This was a birthday present of my amazing friends, as you will know if you read this post and I really do love it, I've been wearing it all the time.
6. Loreal Studio Line Supersizing Spray- I brought this back in January and to begin with I didn't really like it but I think I've finally figured out how to use it and I really like it now. I think I was spraying too much on my hair so that it was weighing it down, but I finally seem to have got it mastered now and it adds a lot of volume to my hair. I'd definitely recommend it.
7. Lee Stafford Purple Shampoo- Loads of people have been commenting recently, asking if I have re-dip-dyed my hair because it's looking a lot brighter and the only thing that I can think of that I've changed is that I have added this shampoo to my weekly hair care routine. SO thank you very much to Mr Lee Stafford and to whoever invented the concept of purple shampoo.
8. Tangle Teezer-I know that i am super late to join this bandwagon, like years late. But better late than never, at least for my hair. There has been some particularly windy days round where I live over the last month and this brush has been an absolute lifesaver, it just does exactly what it says on the tin. I hate using normal hair brushes now!

So let me know in the comments below what your favourites have been...

1.Word Necklaces
Go to a charity or second hand shop and find an old dictionary then pick a word that describes each of your friends and cut them out. Stick the definition onto the charm blanks like these then use a glaze like Diamond Glaze to seal them and attach a chain. Easy, personalised necklaces describing your friends in one word.

You could make some lovely bracelets for friends using the tutorial above from PS I Made This... Or use any of these jewellery making tutorials to mkae gorgeous gifts for your friends.

3.Hot Chocolate and Personalised Mug
Grab a mug like this and use a Sharpie pen to draw or write on it and bake in the oven for an easy personalised mug (Heres a tutorial). And then add some cheap, easy to make hot chocolate or white hot-cocoa and maybe a candy cane or even homemade marshmallows.

4.Map Coasters
Just follow the instructions over on casasugar to make these gorgeous coasters, I'm sure your friends will love these and you can always change the paper to scrapbook or wrapping paper.

My Top 5 Craft Blogs

This is just a post about my top five favourite blogs for craft plus I put them in order so you can see which are my favourites...

1 Eat Drink Chic by Amy Moss I simply ADORE the printables that Amy Moss designs as you might be able to tell by the amount I link them :) The first post I ever came across of hers was her Ice Cream Parlour Buffet Concept and since then I have been an avid reader of her blog. She regularly posts a huge range of printables and DIY's for the home that are simply gorgeous and oh so simple to make. NOTE: She is currently on a break form her blog but will be returning in November.

2.Funky Time by Sibylle This is a great blog and I just love the vibrant oranges and yellows of the sites graphics. Sibylle designs some great graphics and makes the funkiest DIY's, I especially love her recent ping pong ball candles, they are so cute. She also releases a quarterly magazine online that normally about 70 pages and contains articles from other bloggers plus DIY's, printables, up cycles and tablescapes.

3. Just Something I Made by Cathe Holden I get a lot of the graphics I use off of here, her site is just great! It not only has a huge (and I mean HUGE) selection of free vintage printables, she also has a range of DIY's. This is one of my fave blogs purely because of all the vintage stuff that she posts, which I just adore, I swear I was born in the wrong era!

4.PS I Made This by Erica Domesek This is a tumblr based blog that I follow and the author has also released a new book to go with the blog. She blogs mainly about fashion and how to make clothes and accessories but she also does some tutorials on food too occasionally.

5.A Splendid Assemblage by Dina Dina posted loads of great fashion DIY's and how to's especially ones that are inspired by famous fashion brands. My favourite of her DIY's was the inspirational quote T-Shirt, I robbed the quote and made my own t shirt with it ;)
