'You're My Hero' Medal Cookies from Wreck It Ralph
I finally got round to watching Wreck It Ralph over the holidays and oh my gosh its amazing! Whoever came up with that idea is pure genius. For those of you who don't know, it's sort of like toy story in the way that when the arcade closes all the games come to life and can travel into other games. If you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend it.
Anyway I decided to try and make cookies similar to the one that Vanellope gives to Ralph, as seen below-
I used Peggy Porschen's sugar cookie recipe which I found here and then used half a packet of royal icing mix from silverspoon to ice them. I iced around the edges in white first, then took two thirds of the mix which was left and added blue food dye and water to thin it out so that i good flood the cookies and then used the remaining white icing to write on them.
Mine don't really look much like the ones from the movie but hey, I tried. And they tasted yummy. Which is what counts in biscuits. I hope.

Cherry & Chocolate Biscuits
These biscuits have a crunchy, crisp texture and a sweet taste.
Ingredients
225g Butter
140g caster Sugar
55g Glacé Cherries chopped finely
280g Plain flour
55g Milk chocolate chips
1 egg yolk lightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Method
6. Preheat the oven to 190degrees/Gas mark 5/ 375f and roll out the dough and cut into what ever shapes you want. My dough was too sticky to do this so I ended up rolling them into balls by hand and then just slightly flattening them on the tray.

White and Milk Chocolate Cookies :)
I made these white and milk chocolate chip cookies for the charity cake sale at school but I forgot to get a picture of them off the tray so this is all I've got .
Silly me ;)
Here's the ingredients you'll need-
300g Self Raising Flour
50g Caster Sugar
250g butter
100g Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Milk
175g Chocolate chips
1.preheat the oven to 180degrees/Gas Mark 4/fan160
2.I'd advise you to soften the butter in the microwave and then cream the
butter, caster sugar and brown sugar
3.Stir in the flour and milk then the chocolate chips
4. Make into 18 balls and slightly flatten on greased trays
5. Finally bake for 15-20 in the oven or until pale golden brown
Then enjoy eating them all!
