Duo Clear Eyelash Adhesive Review

Best. Eyelash. Glue. Ever. Just putting that out there to begin with. I've been using the Eyelure glue for the past year or so and never really thought about trying another brand until I ran out. Sam and Nic of Pixiwoo always use this so I thought i'd give it a try and wow. I never realised what I was missing, the duo eyelash adhesive is sooo much better than eyelure. It lasts sooooo much longer and the corners of my lashes don't start peeling away towards the end of the night like they usually do. It doesn't smell great, but that's not surprising however it is easy to apply and dries clear. The tube is also rather large and should last a long time. Overall I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for  a good eyelash glue.

Easter Primark Haul

Everyone knows that holidays mean its time for a shopping trip to the bullring and to primark!

   Shoes-£10
These shoes were the highlight of my shopping trip, I just think that they are gorgeous and for £10 you cant go wrong! My sister also got some gorgeous ones that were very similar except rather than the cross at the front it was one strap which had cutouts on it, they were £12 and I told her when she brought them that I would be borrowing them!

Daisy Shirt- £10
I love this shirt and wore it 3 times within a week of buying it! I just love Peter Pan collars and the daisy print was so cute!

Black Cami- £10
I don't really have many plain, basic type tops so thought that this would be good to add to my collection but its also quite interesting because it has the added detail of having two layers, plus it would look great with a statement necklace.

Accessories priced as in the photo
Sincc trying out my Katy Perry lashes I decided to try out some more and 4 for a £3 seemed great, I'll be writing a review of these as soon as I try them out but they look great! I'll also write a review of the nails when I get round to trying them out, though that wont be for a while since I'm back at school now. I've never really been a fan of fake nails because mine are quite long anyway but the patterns on these were just soooo cute I couldn't resist. I seem to buy grips everytime I go primark but I'm always running out as I'm sure everyone understands, and I thought the necklace would be perfect for spring.

We also stopped off at poundland and I was super happy to see that they had strawberry flavoured marshmallow fluff which is one I've never tried, plus I saw metcalfes skinny topcorn and after seeing it on A Yellow Brick Blog I knew I had to try some and I so do not regret it! It tastes amazing, especially the salt and sweet one that I got, I still cant believe its only 78 calories per bag, its literally amazing, everyone should try it. I also brought some little cake pop moulds to try out too since it was only £1.

I hope you guys all had a great Easter holiday too!

Katy Perry Oh Honey False Eyelashes Review

These were my first pair of false eyelashes so I don't really have anything to compare these to, but I must say I love them. I bought them after reading a lot of good reviews and it was a toss up between the 'Oh Honey' and 'Sweetie Pie' ones.
They have a clear band so you could definitely wear these without eyeliner plus it means that they are really flexible and because they are natural looking ones they are very light too. All in all they are very comfortable to wear and the glue that comes with them works really well. The only problem I had with them is that I'm not really sure they made all that difference to me appearance wise because I have pretty long lashes anyway. You can definitely notice when my eyes are closed, but when they are open they look very natural and not that much longer than my natural lashes so next time I might be tempted to go for a pair that's a little heavier.

I bought these for £5.95 in Superdrug but unfortunately I went into Bodycare afterwards to buy some St Moriz tan and unfortunately found the exact same pair for £4. I was a little heartbroken, my friends (Hi Bronagh!) already know this because I spent quite a while complaining about this! So the moral of the story is that you should shop around!

As you can probably tell, I wasn't great at putting the lashes on, but it was my first go, so please let me off? The left one ended up a bit wonky and I really struggled with making the inner corners stay down but I think I sorted it out in the end. Overall considering it was the first time I've ever tried putting them on I think I did alright, but I think that was thanks to watching Pixiwoo's video to be honest, very helpful for a first timer!

Please bare in mind (Or bear in mind?) that the two photos below were taken after I got home from the party as I was taking the lashes off, so I'm sorry if I'm looking a little worse for wear. Being the idiot that I am though, I didn't think to get a photo with and without lashes, comparing the two. So basically, on the left is me with the lashes and on the right is my natural lashes without mascara or anything on. I'd also like to apologise for the bottom photo being out of focus, but you can kind of see it still...?

So all in all I'm really happy with these lashes and I really hope that they will last a while. Have any of you tried Katy Perry lashes or the Eyelure ones before, any styles that you could recommend me to try out next?
