Coloured Coca Cola Bottles

I love coke in glass bottles so when I saw them last summer I knew I had to buy them. After I drank them I couldn't bear to throw them away because I just love the bottles and I barely see them anywhere. So I filled each one with water and added a small amount of food colouring to each one and made a rainbow out of them...

They now stand proudly on the window ledge in my bathroom next to my mirror.

Bottle Cap Charms Update

Here's my updated collection of bottle cap charms, all made with triple thick glaze :)

I have 20 now because I gave a bunch to a friend and had to bin some because they were too cloudy.

Peach Lemonade

Today I made some Peach Lemonade to go in the bottle I brought on Monday and then I designed some cute little labels to go on too.

Here's the recipe for the lemonade-
Ingredients
100g sugar
1 can of peaches in light syrup
4 cups of water
the juice of four lemons

Method
1. Purée the peaches and sugar in a blender.
2.Juice the 4 lemons and add the purée to it then combine with the water and stir.
3. I also chose to run it through a sieve before putting it into the bottle too because it was slightly lumpy, but this step is optional.

and here's the labels too.
The nutritional info is accurate if you stick to the above ingredients list too, I used a website called https://www.nutritionprogram.co.uk/

Great finds at Ikea+Aldi

On Monday I went to Ikea with my family and in the bargain corner I came across these beautiful green and clear bottles. They were on sale at just 80p so I couldn't resist! Once I got them home I sprayed some polish onto the sticky labels and left it for half an hour then rubbed it off really easily.
I think I might use them to hold some home-made bubble bath and use the adorable printables that I found on Eat Drink Chic, here's the link -http://eatdrinkchic.com/post.cfm/diy-bridesmaid-gifts-homemade-bubble-bath-free-labels
And today I was doing some grocery shopping with my mother and I found these clear water bottles that I have wanted for a long time but have only been able to find online. And the best bit was that they were only 99p! What a bargain!
The main reason that I wanted these bottles was because of this post on Eat Drink Chic (again!)because the tags that Amy Moss designed are gorgeous and so summery!
So all in all it has been a wonderful start to the week!
