This giveaway was actually to celebrate my blogs one year birthday and getting 10,000 total page views which both happened at the end of December, so yes I'm rather late (No change there!) but better late then never. I really do enjoy writing for my little space on the internet and I really value each and every view that I get, so this is really just to say thanks to all of you readers.

Winner will receive-
Topshop lipstick in Wicked (Review here)
Topshop Blush in Head Over Heels
Compact tangle teezer
Soap and Glory gift set with mini Hand Food, Clean on Me, Scrub of Your Life and The Righteous Butter
Toni and Guy bag with Hairspray, Dry shampoo, and Heat Protectant.

The rules are simple, all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is follow me on bloglovin (There's a button on the right), and tweet about the giveaway with the hashtag #BeautyByAGeekGiveaway.
You must be a UK mainland resident and the giveaway will end a month from now (9th April at midnight GMT)

October Favourites

I have been watching so much youtube recently, I'm a little obsessed. But anyway, I was inspired by these to start a new feature... monthly favourites! So here goes...

1. Starbucks Chilled Caramel Macchiato Latte-These things taste amazing! As do the bottled frappuccinos.
2. ABC's Once Upon A Time-I have been watching this show since the very beginning and am totally obsessed. So happy Season 3's finally here!
3. MUA Undressed Palette-This is a beautiful and versatile palette with a great selection of colours.
4. Sara Bareilles Brave, Chasing The Sun and Hercules-Chasing the Sun is my current fave but the other two are close contenders.
5. Maynards Sour Patch Kids- I am so happy that these have arrived in England, they are delicious!
6. Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss stick in Fucshia-ristic- This has long been a favorite of mine as it has the colour of a lipstick but the sheen of a lip gloss with out the stickiness.
7. Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant by Veronica Roth-I am obsessed with these books! I read the first one in 2 days and can't wait to read the third.
8. Compass by Lady Antebellum-I have been a fan of Lady A for a while now but their new single is one of my favourites yet.
9. Loreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Black Intense- This is my new favourite eyeliner! The tip is so thin and precise and the formula lasts all day.

And of course I have been obsessed with Katy Perry's new album, 'Prism'!

Let me know your favourites this month in the comments...

My (growing) Lipstick Collection

I seem to be having a bit of any issue at the moment. That issue is makeup. And money. I can't stop buying makeup at the moment. I brought a new eyeliner, two lipsticks and an eyeshadow palette in the last week...
The newest members of the collection are the MUA lipsticks, but I'll be doing a separate review of them after I have used them a bit, as with the palette and eyeliner.

From Left to right-MUA shade 1 and 4, Natural Collection Crimson, Baby Lips pink punch, Soap and Glory sexy mother pucker lip gloss in Fuchsia-Ristic, Rimmel London Kate Moss lasting finish lipstick shade 16, Miss Sporty Hard Candy, I Love and Bubble Gum.

So far I love the MUA and Kate Moss lipsticks. The Soap and glory one is more of a lip gloss so its a tad sticky which annoys me because my hair sometimes gets stuck to it, which is the main reason I don't really wear lip gloss, but i do love. The baby lips is a great lip balm but the colour doesn't show up much. The miss Sporty ones aren't very good at all. I only bought them because I wanted a bright pink one for a party and they were on 3 for 2 so I just brought 3.Which I know is not a very good way to shop. Finally, the Natural Collection one is quite good, very moisturizing but not very long lasting.

Compared to most people I know my collection Isn't very big, but I do still love it .

Considering MUA is the cheapest of all of them at just £1, they definitely have my favourite packaging, though I do like the Kate Moss packaging too. I also think that the two mentioned are my favourites formula-wise as well.

Let me know if you have tried any of these lipsticks or shades...
