What's In My Bag?

Over the summer I have collected so much junk in my bag (AKA receipts and empty food wrappers) that I decided to have a clear out and do the what's in my bag post. Considering how long I've been blogging for I can't believe I haven't done it before tbh. Starting with the tech essentials such as my phone and headphones, plus the newest must-have which is a portable charger! I really don't now how I survived without this now, it's saved me so many times, especially if I go out in the evening. The other essentials for any outing are my purse and keys (which have both a Captain America and Elsa Keyring on). And if you're wondering what the little drawstring bag is there for, I put all my beauty essentials in it so that I can move it all easily from bag to bag or from my school bag. So basically there's a mirror, oil sheets, lip calm, hand sanitiser, bobbles, grips, hand lotion, ibuprofen, sun lotion and a little glasses cleaning wipe. There is also a little bottle of body spray and usually at least one lipstick, if not 6. The bag I use is black boho style one from Primark that looks like engraved leather, it's the perfect size for all my essentials and is great for day or night really.
So what are your bag essentials...

The Halloween Tag

Picture off We Heart It and I added the text

I was tagged to do the Halloween Tag by the lovely Lily from LilyPad, you should go check her out!

Q1. What is your favourite Halloween movie?

I've got to be honest I've never really seen a 'halloween' movie. I only watched my first ever horror movie like two weeks ago (Annabelle, in case your wondering!) but I am going to see Ouija on Friday and I'm kinda terrified!

Q2. What is your fondest Halloween memory?
I never really celebrated Halloween much as a kid, we didn't really go trick or treating or get dressed up that much, though to be fair, for a couple of years our friends who lived across the road did have halloween parties which were pretty awesome. But I think the best Halloween memory I have so far is my party last week! Post coming soon.

Q3. Favourite Halloween decoration?

Ummmm, thats kinda hard, obviously I love a good old Jack O Lantern but at the moment we have this awesome Yellow Tape up that says ' CAUTION ZOMBIES LIVE HERE' Which I love :)

Q4. Vampires or Zombies?
Well it depends really, cus obvs vampires are pretty sexy (Not the twilight kind) but I am very partial to the Walking Dead so I love them both really!

Q5. What is your weird/odd fear?
Hmmmmm, now thats a hard one, I have loads of fears really, but I guess my weirdest one is having sharp things touch my wrists, like I cant even write on my wrists cus it just freaks me out, and I hate when people hold me by the wrists.

Q6. Do you believe in ghosts?
Not really nope, but there are those times when you're home alone in the dark and there are noises and things when I'm like maybe, but then I'm just like ' Well, Jace Lightwood/Wayland/Morgenstern will protect me' (I'm obsessed with Mortal Instruments right now!)

And I'll tag-

Ikea Bits and Pieces

Um, who doesn't love Ikea?
My dad wanted a new mirror so of course off we headed to ikea and who can resist picking up a few little bits and pieces whilst mooching.

 Chistmassy washi tape for £1.50
Napkin holder turned paper organiser £3
Vase 70p (I really need to find some flowers now)
Stripey Christmas Gift Tags £1
Oak Frame £4 (I have quite the plan for this, don't worry)

I actually picked this up on the last trip but thought I'd include it anyway. I think it was £3 and I love that I've been able to put all my photos underneath it plus my time table too.

So to answer the original question- I love ikea.

Sweater Weather Tag

According to google winter officially started yesterday on the 21st. My family would choose the winter solstice as the day to have a party, when, according to the percy jackson books, dark magic is at its strongest ;) I copied this tag and the adorable picture from makeupsavvy.co.uk. I wasn't sure what to do for my next festive favourites post of the week so when I found this I thought it would be a cute idea.

Winter_Sweater_tag

1. Favourite candle scent?
At the moment I am burning one that someone gave my mom last year for christmas from Tesco called Sugar and Spice which I adore, but I am also loving yankee candles in red apple wreath, salted caramel and snowflake cookie.
2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
I absolutely hate coffee and tea :0 I really wish I liked it but it just tastes disgusting. In the winter though I usually do love a cup of hot chocolate especially one with a hint of caramel or white hot chocolate.
 3. What's the best winter memory you have?
I really don't know... Maybe last year when we had a snow day and I met all my friends in the local park and we went sledding and stuff or when I went to the German Market with my family last year or when I went this year with my friends or our annual christmas parties. I dont know really because I have so many great memories!
 4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?
I'm more of an eye makeup kinda gal anyway so I would definitely choose the winged eyeliner since I wear it most days anyway.
5. Best fragrance for winter?
I don't really have summer and winter perfumes, I just wear the same ones all year round but maybe Kylie Minogue Darling?
6. Favourite Christmas Food?
I'm not a huge fan of turkey but I am partial to some pigs in blanket and mince pies :)
7. What is winter weather like where you live?
The UK is normally pretty wet and cold and quite often we have snow, though it has never snowed on christmas day for me :'(
8. Most worn sweater?
This year it would have to be my slouchy maroon knit sweater from Primark
9. Must-have nail polish this winter?
Well at the moment I am wearing Barry M Matte in Crush with a layer of gloss over the top because whilst I adore the colour I can't say I'm a fan of the matte really.
10. Skinny jeans or leggings?
Well it depends where I am! If I'm Chilling at home it would always be leggins but if I'm living the house it has to be my light wash skinny jeans.
11. Boots or Uggs?
Definitely boots, I'm really not a fan of uggs, sorry! I did use to have some though.
12. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?
I don't really know what it is, pumpkin is not rally a thing in the UK like it is in the USA
13. Favourite winter TV show?
That is so hard! The good wife is one that I always sit down to watch with my family in the winter but Game of Thrones is also a great one for the wintery weather.
14. What songs really get you into the Christmas spirit?
Some of my favourites are Fairytale of New York, Driving home for Christmas, Let it Snow, Do they know its Christmas and A spaceman came travelling.

Have any of you done this tag? Because I'd love to read it if you have...

Just an airmail gift tag that I created to go on some presents for a friend. I have wrapped them up in brown paper, string and these tags.
