Lush Oxford Street Haul

On my visit to London I of course couldn't resist a visit to the Lush store on Oxford street. I planned on just having a look around and not actually buying anything but before I knew it I was buying 5 things. When I saw the bath oils I knew I had to buy some not only because they were Oxford Street exclusives but also because unlike bath bombs they seem like they may genuinely be of use to me. I picked up the gold one simply because LOOK AT IT. IT'S SO SPARKLY. It literally looks like a gold nugget. And it smells all warm and gingery, I can't wait to use it. I also brought one that smells like fruit pastilles and two that I can't actually remember what they smell like, but I know they must have smelt amazing. I also got the flamingo reusable bubble bar which smells like cocktails which is the only product I have used so far and it was pretty good. The bubbles didn't last long but I didn't use much of it, however it did smell great.
The only other purchase I made in London (expect for Chipotle for lunch, Frankie and Bennies for dinner, fortune cookies and photo booth photos in Urban Outfitters[okay that was a lot more]) was a Kiko eyeliner which I recently reviewed and am currently loving!
I really enjoyed my day in London and can't wait to go again sometime, it only took a few hours to get there on the train as well, much easier than I would have expected, though it was a long day!

Sale Shopping in Town

I simply wasn't brave enough to risk the boxing day sales, I did however venture into the Bullring on the 27th.
Oops, that looks like quite a few bags...

In Lush I picked up a melting marshmallow moment bath melt and the Mask of Magnaminty, my first ever Lush products! I'm so excited to try them, I really hope that they live up to all the hype.

In Urban Outfitters I picked up this beautiful black, blue and white aztec print fitted skirt. The fact that it was half price really helped to persuade me though!

Then in superdrug I picked up some new exfoliating gloves, Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 110 and Apocalips Lip Lacquers in Nude and Nude Eclipse. You'll know from this post that I love Rimmel's Apocalips already but these two new shades are gorgeous, I'll write a review on them with swatches soon.

And lastly from Selfridges I picked up 3 macaroons :) I have never tried macarons and I have always wanted to so when I spotted them in Selfridges I couldn't resist.  They were stupidly expensive especially considering the size of them but I tried the vanilla one and the hazelnut one and they were delicious, I saved the Chocolate one for my sister, I hope she appreciated it!

So there we go, not a bad days shopping I'd say :)
And we went to Nandos for lunch too so thanks Eilis for a wonderful day out!
