Secret Santa Gift

Elizabeth Arden Intrigue Eyeliner in umber // Ciate Nail Polish // Burt's Bees Hibiscus Lip Balm // Tropical Print Wash Bag from TKMaxx
I was pretty lucky with my secret santa this year, I got one of my best gal pals who has very similar tastes to me, so it wasn't too hard. By now you must all know of my love of TKMaxx, especially for presents, so I popped in a couple times and picked up the bag, nail polish and eyeliner. Last week when I went in, they had a bunch of Sleek lip palettes which I also brought for a present for someone.
The lip balm I bought a few months ago on clearance in Boots, I got two, one of which I use and love myself. Overall I think it makes a lovely gift all for under £15.
Oh and incase you're wondering the ribbon and gift tags are from Ikea, how pretty are they with brown paper though though?

Paris is always a good idea...

First- OMG. This is my 300th post, how is that even possible?! It's been a hella fun ride here on my little blog and I love having an outlet for my creativity and ideas where I can just be myself, so I really hope ya'll enjoy reading as much as I enjoy photographing and writing these posts!
Anyway...
Anyone else  a little obsessed with Paris? It just looks so pretty and chic and fun. Paris is one of the places I most want to visit (along with Istanbul and Marrakech FYI). I digress. I wanted an interesting way to display photos on my wall and this idea popped up on We Heart It ages ago. So I ordered some photos and found some blue tack and got sticking. I think it turned out really pretty and the little cloud print that I got in the April My Little Box looks super cute next to it too. If you're gonna give it a go make sure that you have plenty of portrait pictures as I was a little short so ended up having to use some old quote prints to fill in the gaps.

Last Minute Christmas Present Ideas for Beauty Lovers

In lieu of a festive favourites post today I thought I'd give you some last minute present ideas. With a week to go you really should have all your christmas presents sorted by now, but just in case you don't here's a few ideas...

Christmas Present Ideas for Beauty Lovers

Sometimes it's rather hard to buy beauty related presents for make-up enthusiasts like myself since make-up is quite a personal thing. That's why I decided to put together a little selection of things that any beauty enthusiast would be happy to receive. Most of the products mentioned above are some of my personal favourites, including the MUA Undressed palette, Barry M gelly nail varnishes, essie nail varnish, candles and the three perfumes. The others are all things that I am lusting after :)

Hope this gives you some inspiration...

16th Birthday Present Idea

Since it was the 16th birthday of my best friend since I was four years old, I wanted to do something special. The basic concept is as she's 16 years old, she gets 16 presents for the 16 days before her birthday.

What I included in my gift-
1. Baby Lips Lipbalm
2. Marshmallow Fluff (She loves american sweets)
3. 16th Birthday Badge
4. Earrings
5. Vimto Sweets (Her favourite)
6. Nail Polish+Blusher
7. 16 Keyring
8. Book
9. Handbag Organiser
10. Photos
11. Lumos Candle (DIY here)
12. Gryffindor Bauble
13. Bertie Botts every flavour bean (Box template here
14. Harry Potter lightning bolt ring
15. Dictionary Necklace (DIY here)
16. A Birthday Balloon

Then here they all are wrapped up, numbered and ready to go. Then I just placed them in the gift bag, attached the card to the balloon and tied the balloon to the gift handle. I gave the present to her 16 days before her birthday so that she could open one each day before her birthday.
And although You'd expect this to be pretty expensive it turned out at less than £25 due to the fact that I DIYed a few of the presents.

Hope you like the idea, let me know if you try it out...
